About the Webweaver

Call me sifr, i live in Eastern India. i'm agender, and i go by it/its and they/them pronouns. i like reading science fiction and learning about insects and fungi. i work as an academic writer, and right now, i'm learning how to code very, very slowly.

As of March '26, this site, which was once known as phenakistoskope, now goes by अमरूद, which is the hindi/urdu word for guava. Guavas are my favourite fruit, i prefer to eat them raw, tart, sprinkled with black salt, chili powder, and occasionally, কাসুন্দি. My other favourite fruits are জামরুল and কামরাঙা.
